Pellets from practically nothing – flour, but boiling water! It will completely replace both bread and desserts. And so delicious that it’s hard to force yourself to stop … These cakes quite easily replace bread. Moreover, if you make a sweet filling, you can even just make it from sugar, then this is already a substitute for desserts!
These cakes are really suitable for every day, especially since it turns out well, very budget.
For video enthusiasts, I prepared a short video recipe for making cakes, see:

In a bowl where I will make the dough, sift the flour.
Add a teaspoon of salt and mix with flour.
I will not make sweet cakes, if you want sweet ones, then you can add sugar, and reduce salt.
I make a depression in the flour and pour in a couple of tablespoons of odorless vegetable oil.
Now pour a thin stream of "boiling water" and mix with a spoon.
As the spoon became difficult to interfere, I begin to knead the dough with my hands. The dough is very easy to knead, it is easier to do it in boiling water, as it seems to me.
The dough should turn out soft and not stick to your hands.
I shift the dough into a bag and send it to the refrigerator to “rest” for 20 minutes.
In the meantime, I will prepare the filling. I will just have green onions. Finely chop it.
You can use completely different fillings, or you can just salt or sugar, any other greens, seasoning, cottage cheese, cabbage, potatoes and so on. A bunch of options. This is good, every day a new taste!
As the dough rested, I roll out a flagellum from it and divide the dough into 4 equal parts.
I put the 3 parts to the side and cover with a towel so that the dough does not blow.
Roll the dough into a thin cake. No need to strive for the perfect circle – this is superfluous.
I grease now with oil, quite a bit and sprinkle with onions.
And twist the cake, pinch the edges.
I turn the resulting flagellum into a snail. I cover with a towel so that it does not get windy and do the same with the rest of the dough.
I cover the baking sheet with baking paper and shift the cakes, cover with a towel and let them rest for another 10 minutes.
Time has passed, I press on each cake with my hand and I get 4 such thin cakes.
I grease and pierce the cakes with a fork.
I cook in preheated to 250 degrees 15 minutes.
By the way, these cakes can be fried in a pan.
Cakes are ready, they turn out very crispy, tasty and fragrant.
Enjoy your meal!
